Midnight Special is a mysterious oriental aromatic blend with Parisian charm. The fragrance was launched in 2017 by the French perfume brand Ex Nihilo and is an original oriental-woody fragrance created by perfumer Olivier Pechet. Housed in a sumptuous golden brown bottle, the perfume strikes a subtle and contrasting balance between invigorating saffron and a warm, woody core of patchouli and oud. The sound of the perfume begins with the aroma of saffron, sounding in the arms of velvety cinnamon and spicy black pepper. In the heart of the composition, silky-spicy Bulgarian rose and velvety-honey Turkish rose combine their aromas, and the sparkling spicy freshness of grapefruit serves as a wonderful backdrop for their sound. The final chord gives a soft consonance of spicy patchouli and harmonious sweetish-smoky oud in a cloud of gentle sweetish vanilla.
